These Terms & Conditions apply when you use softbeastpets.com or purchase products from Soft Beast. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them.
Website use
You may use the website for lawful personal shopping and information purposes. You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Product information
We aim to describe products accurately using information available to us. Colours and appearance may vary between screens, and product details may be updated after sample testing or supplier confirmation. Information marked “To be confirmed” is not a final specification.
Prices and payment
Prices displayed on the website are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise. PayPal is our current payment service provider. Available payment methods, shipping charges and the final order total are shown at checkout before payment.
Orders, acceptance and cancellation
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. A successful payment or automated order email only confirms that we have received the order. The order is formally accepted when we send a shipping confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order if there is an obvious pricing error, payment cannot be completed or authorised, a product is unavailable, the delivery address is outside an area we can service, or fulfilment is not reasonably possible. If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.
If you need to request an order cancellation, contact hello@softbeastpets.com as soon as possible. We will try to cancel the order only if it has not entered processing or shipping. Cancellation cannot be guaranteed.
Availability
Product availability and stock status can change. A product marked “Coming Soon” is not currently available to purchase.
Shipping
Estimated delivery is 7–15 business days, but this is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery time. Shipping availability and charges are described on our Shipping page. The final shipping charge is calculated at checkout using the delivery postcode.
Returns and product problems
We currently do not accept change-of-mind returns. If a product arrives damaged, incorrect or with a quality problem, please follow the process on our Returns page and contact us before sending anything back.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Australian consumers continue to have all rights and remedies available to them under that law.
Pet safety and supervision
Products must be used during supervised play. Inspect toys regularly and stop use if a product becomes damaged or loose parts appear. Follow all product-specific safety and care information. No dog toy should be treated as indestructible.
Intellectual property
The Soft Beast name, logo, website text and original images and visual content created for Soft Beast are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, republish or commercially use this content without permission or another lawful basis. Third-party or supplier materials remain the property of their respective owners, and these terms do not claim ownership of material that Soft Beast does not own.
Service availability
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may maintain, update or suspend parts of the site when reasonably necessary.
Liability
Our responsibility is subject to applicable law, including rights and consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of a product, failure to follow product instructions, unauthorised site access or events outside our reasonable control.
Disputes and applicable law
If a concern or dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it with you. This does not limit your right to seek any other remedy available under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the relevant transaction. Australian consumers continue to have the rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, products, fulfilment arrangements or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
